Owensboro has been a hub for bourbon production because of its location along a rail line and waterway, its tremendous limestone water source, its extensive oak forests and because corn has always been the major crop for the local farmers.
The Distillery was declared a heritage member of the official Kentucky Bourbon Trail at its western most point; thus, reviving the rich, historic distilling tradition of Owensboro, Kentucky.
